Baropodometric examination
What is a baropodometric test?
A baropodometric test is a test used to evaluate the distribution of body weight on the feet and the way one walks or stands. This test is useful for identifying any postural problems, gait alterations, and preventing or treating back pain, foot pathologies, or posture-related dysfunctions.
This is achieved through the creation of custom-made insoles, designed to correct or support any postural problems, pain, or walking dysfunctions.
How does the service work?
1. Reception and medical history:
- Collection of personal information and specific issues.
- Discussion of symptoms or pain, if any.
2. Static baropodometric examination:
- The user positions himself on a baropodometric platform.
- Plantar pressure points and body balance are detected.
3. Dynamic baropodometric examination:
- The user walks on the platform.
- The system records the movement of the feet and the distribution of pressure while walking.
4. Computerized data analysis:
- The technician or specialist analyzes the results to identify any abnormalities, such as pronation, supination, or misalignments.
5. Custom insole design:
- Based on the data collected, a customized insole is created using materials and technologies suited to the user’s needs.
